A brief Wedding Ceremony

By Rev. Jim Demanche

Wedding Ceremony: Brief

Dearly beloved, we are gathered here together in the presence of God, to join this man

_________ and this woman ____________ in the bonds of Holy Matrimony.

Marriage is a sacred and blessed event given to us by God Himself. The vows which are spoken and exchanged here are not to be taken lightly. It is a life long commitment of love, one for another.

Groom: Do you __________ take ___________ to be your lawfully wedded Wife? To love, honor, cherish, and comfort her in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, forsaking all others for as long as you shall live? (I DO)

Groom places ring on Brides finger and repeats: "With this ring, I thee Wed"

Bride: Do you ____________ take ____________ to be your lawfully wedded Husband? To love, honor, cherish, and comfort him in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, forsaking all others for as long as you shall live?

(I DO).

Bride places ring on Grooms finger and repeats: "With this ring, I thee Wed".
As you have now exchanged vows of love and commitment one for another, and in the presence of these family members, friends, and witness, with the authority given to me by God and the State of California, I now pronounce you both (Husband and Wife).

You may now kiss each other!

It is my honor to present to you for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. _____________
